By clicking the button, a search will start. You could also hit the enter key on your keyboard.

Advertisements are also searchable. The headline column shows the text included in the advertisements.
To exclude advertisements from the search, please untick the "Advertisement".

Under the initial setting, check marks appear for all prefectures for which newspaper pages are available, such as Miyagi Prefecture and Fukushima Prefecture, meaning all prefectures are covered in the search. Check marks can be removed to designate a specific search area, such as only Ibaraki Prefecture or only Aichi Prefecture.

When you click "specify," a sub-window would open and shows "categories" to choose from. By clicking the category in the sub-window, the chosen categories would show up on the entry box.
AI also automatically assigns article classifications (92 categories) to the articles.

After entering one of the keywords, classification, or issue date, please enter the name of the prefecture or region such as "京都(Kyoto)" or "神戸(Kobe)" directly into the entry box.
